1. Provider

2. App language

The Tecconta app is currently available in English and Spanish. The default language is English. To display the appropriate language to the user, the set language of the device used is queried when the app is started. If the set language is not available, the default language is displayed.

The legal basis is the legitimate interest in accordance with Art. 6 I 1 f) GDPR to provide the user with an optimal user experience.

3. User account

Registration is required to use the Tecconta app. When registering, an email address and a password are required. When creating a document (invoice, estimate, receipt) or a payment (income, expense) for the first time, additional personal or company data of the user such as the  (company) name, address, telephone number, currency and bank details are requested. Except the (company) name, all additional data is optional. The user's personal or company data is stored internally on Tecconta's Firebase services for display on invoices, estimates and receipts that the user sends to his customers and prospects. The data is stored permanently until the user deletes his user account together with the data. The purpose of data collection is to create a user account to enable all functions of the app. It is possible at any time to revoke the voluntary registration or to delete the data.

4. Functions data processing

4.1 Invoices, estimates and receipts

The user can create invoices, estimates and receipts. In order to display the user's personal or company data such as email address, (company) name, address, telephone number, currency and bank details on invoices, cost estimates and receipts, the data is requested when a document or payment is created for the first time. Optionally, the user can store additional data such as a tax number. The data is stored in Tecconta's cloud storage on Firebase. PDF documents (invoices, estimates, receipts) are created locally and then uploaded to Tecconta's cloud storage. The local PDF can be shared using the sending capabilities of the user's mobile device, e.g. via email. The uploaded documents in Tecconta's cloud storage can only be accessed by the respective user.

4.2 Income and expenses

The user can save income and expenses to display the current financial situation. The data is stored in Tecconta's cloud storage on Firebase. Particular income and expenses can be deleted by the user. An invoice created according to 3.1 is also saved as income.

4.3 Customer management

The User may save customers and prospects and link them to documents and transactions created according to 3.1 and 3.2. The data is stored in Tecconta's cloud storage on Firebase.

5. Storage period

The user's data will be stored until further storage is no longer necessary for legal reasons or for the purpose of fulfilling the contract. The user can erase all data by deleting the account. If deletion is not possible, the data will be blocked.

6. Use of other services

6.1 Firebase

To implement the technical infrastructure, Tecconta uses the services Firebase Auth, Firebase Storage, Firebase Database, Firebase Cloud Functions and Firebase Hosting of Firebase from Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House offices, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. The data is hosted on servers in Frankfurt, Germany.

The legal basis is the technological necessity in accordance with Art. 6 I 1 b) GDPR to provide the user with a functional mobile app.

6.2 Firebase Analytics

To improve the stability and user experience of the app, Tecconta uses Firebase Analytics from Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House offices, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.

The user is asked for his consent when creating an account. Events such as account creations, account deletions, logins, logouts, saving and updating the business data, creating and sending documents and payments and saving or updating customer data are tracked for all users who have given their consent. The consent can be withdrawn at any time in the settings. The data may be transferred to servers in the USA.

6.3 Google Cloud BigQuery

To perform basic analysis of the app usage and to identify potential app improvements, Tecconta uses Google Cloud BigQuery from Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House offices, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. The data is hosted on servers in Frankfurt, Germany.

6.4 Strato

To add the Tecconta domain to the email address of the sender, Tecconta's Firebase services forward data such as the email address of the recipient and the email content to Strato, Otto-Ostrowski-Straße 7, 10249 Berlin, Germany.

The legal basis is the technological necessity in accordance with Art. 6 I 1 b) GDPR to provide the user with a functional mobile app. An order processing agreement has been concluded between Tecconta and Strato.

6.5 Intercom

To give the user the possibility to contact Tecconta directly in the app via chat, Tecconta uses the services of Intercom, Intercom R&D Unlimited Company, 2nd Floor, Stephen Court, 18-21 Saint Stephen's Green, Dublin 2, Ireland.

The legal basis for data collection is the legitimate interest of the controller in accordance with Art. 6 I 1 f)  GDPR. An order processing contract has been concluded between Tecconta and Intercom.

6.6 RevenueCat

For payment processing, analysis and customer support, we use the service RevenueCat, RevenueCat, Inc., 1032 E BRANDON BLVD #3003 BRANDON, FL 33511, UNITED STATES.

7. Data processing by App stores

The Tecconta app is offered in the Google Play Store and Apple App Store. Tecconta assumes no responsibility for data collection and processing by Google Inc. and Apple Inc.. Tecconta has no knowledge of the extent and manner of data collection on the part of both platforms.

8. User rights

8.1 Right of withdrawal

According to Art. 7 III GDPR, the user has the right to revoke his consent to the processing of personal data.

8.2 Right to information

The user has the right to request information about his personal data processed by Tecconta in accordance with Art. 15 GDPR.

8.3 Right to rectification

According to Art. 16 GDPR, the user has the right to request the correction of incorrect personal data or the completion of incomplete personal data.

8.4 Right to cancellation

According to the requirements of Art. 17 GDPR, the user has the right to request the deletion of his personal data.

8.5 Right to restriction of processing

According to the requirements of Art. 18 GDPR, the user has the right to request that the processing of his data be restricted.

8.6 Right to data portability

According to the requirements of Art. 20 GDPR, the user has the right to receive his personal data in a structured, common and machine-readable format.

8.7 Right to object

According to Art. 21 GDPR, the user has the right to object to the processing of his personal data, which is carried out in accordance with Art. 6 I 1 e) or f).

8.8 Right of complaint

According to Art. 77 GDPR, the user has the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
